Saharo Foundation extends its deepest gratitude for your trust and confidence in our mission. As of April 11, 2024, Saharo Foundation proudly announces that we have raised $95,586.80. Remarkably, our overhead costs were minimal, with bank and Paypal fees accounting for less than 3%. This means that an astounding 97% of your generous contributions directly reached those in need.

On the ground, our dedicated volunteers verified each case, ensuring that assistance reached the deserving individuals. Every expense was documented, from receipts to activity logs, and cross-verified for accountability. Our financial records were managed through Quickenbooks, leaving no room for ambiguity. Moreover, we maintained comprehensive project documentation on Google Docs, recording every penny spent, reflecting our dedication to transparency.

IMPACT: We provided scholarships, facilitated health camps, and distributed ration bags capable of sustaining entire families for a month to 1000 families in need. During the month of Ramadan, we distributed over 100,000 meals across various regions of Pakistan. Additionally, Saharo Foundation procured and distributed care packages for those lacking essential items like shoes, clothing, and other necessities.

Furthermore, we extended support to cancer patients, disabled children, and widows. Each disbursement was executed in a way ensuring that your generosity directly impacted those most in need.

Dedicated to serving communities in rural areas, Saharo Foundation sponsored a transformative free medical camp. This initiative provided crucial medical support to those who were facing barriers in accessing healthcare services. By bringing essential medical care directly to the heart of rural communities, we strive to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of individuals and families. Your support ensures that healthcare reaches those who need it the most, fostering a healthier and more resilient society. 
Dear Friend, Firstly, I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve received IRS approval, confirming our commitment to transparency and responsible management of every dollar you entrust us with. But the real impact lies in the lives we touch. This February alone, we empowered three families with rickshaws and a school van through microloans, enabling them to build sustainable livelihoods. We offered five scholarships to deserving students at SZABIST University and, closer to my heart, sponsored a young woman’s medical education at Bolan Medical University, Quetta. These are just a few examples of the positive ripple effect your contributions create. Here is a comment from a student:
