SAHARO Foundation’s initiative Saharo Employment and Professional Development Program (SEPD) in collaboration with SSDP conducted its second session on Employment and Professional development in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Sindh. In this initiative we were supported by respected dean of the faculty Dr Khalil-e-Rehman Khaumbati and honorable Dr Arifa Bhutto Sahiba. The session was attended by a large number of students. The event successfully covered important requirements of the modern corporate sector such as job searching sources, the power of linkedin, communication skills, impressive C.V writing techniques and others. The students were invited on the stage to showcase their public speaking skills and communicate to a large audience. At the end of the session feedback was obtained from the students as well as the respected faculty members. The participants appreciated the event and requested the SEPD team to conduct similar events in the future as well. The SEPD team in collaboration with SSDP is enthusiastic to conduct its scheduled sessions on professional development in the coming weeks in different universities of Sindh including MUET, QUEST and others.
